What a great way to help save a bit of paper from ending up in the trash.
Hey, I live right next to Irvine! I used to live in Irvine for years.
When did you live there? Just think, we could have been neighbors at one time. Where abouts in Irvine did you live?
Hugs,
Joanne
Love the bar towels/napkin idea! We've lived in places close to each other.
Enjoy the wedding...
I'll see if I can put this together before my killer week :0)
What a good idea! I'm thinking of switching to cloth, but the two year old is pretty much a mess every meal and most of my cloth napkins are white linen. Hmm. I'll need to give this more thought as we are trying to live a less "disposable" life as well. Maybe cloth for us and paper for the little monkey...
It is amazing how reading just one post can completely change something in your life. I read this earlier and I would have passed out paper towels to everyone all day and not blinked an eye. Instead, they all used the same type of towels (that you had shown) that I had bought some time ago....
So glad that you had this post..
Also, "we are all here to listen"... that made me feel so good that you said that.. I take things quite personally.. it inspires me in my goal, truly... Thank you! Kayce
Good idea about the terry cloth towels. We can all improve and be kinder to the earth.
This February we bought a compact car that gets super mpg (30 or more mpg). I am pleased to use less gas: less cost, less pollutants, less money to oil producing countries that are not our friends.
Thanks for sharing your towel idea.
I played...
If you click on my name it will take you directly to the tag...

Thanks for the tag, will do it in the next post :D
I am totally and fully guilty when it comes to tissue garbage, we use way too many and its expensive, so these towels are a real saver, in both environment and $$$ too. Though, I will have to get use to wiping rabbit poop with towels, rinsing them etc...I really should stop talking about these poop hehehe :)
I've never been tagged before! What do I do?
Such fun to read your list, Flower! I kind of had a feeling library books would figure into your list somehow! ;o) Your bar towels are a terrific idea! We use cloth napkins every day...Paper napkins only on take-out pizza nights, which happens about once every couple of months, so not too bad--LOL! Every bit helps to save the planet! Happy Days ((HUGS))
