In sharing these pictures you will see what a beautiful coast we have in Oregon. In July of 1969, our governor at the time, Tom McCall, passed a bill to insure that all waterway beaches remain open to the public. No one can own a private beach in Oregon. It has been a priceless gift to the people who live and visit Oregon!!

Home again.....
After four full days with long time friends at the beautiful Oregon Coast it is good to return home! Our time together is always free and easy. We enjoy many of the same pastimes and laugh until we are tired!! Ours is a growing long time friendship between seven women. We have made our sojourns happen for the past nineteen years and we celebrate this reunion each year!

We all enjoyed this view from the living room window while watching as children used the swing and families played together. (The lawn is private).

Rocks formed pools full of sea life until the next tide came in.

Looks like a wonderful trip! I love tide pools. They are so fun to look at the sea critters in there.
Hugs,

Ahh...my favourite blogger is BACK!!! So happy that you are back :D
I admire that you have such good friends and having a break once a year for such a long time. Sooo wonderful, these special bonding times :)
Beautiful pictures and beach! I have been seeing beaches everywhere and it makes me miss the beach so much.
have a great weekend and hugs always :)
I love the idea that your beaches are open to the public..here waterfront properties are being bought up and very little park along the lakes left for tax payers to enjoy! The houses on our lakeshores are massive million dollar homes that leave very little natural setting to view when passing by!
What a beautiful place to spend some time. I hope to visit that part of the country someday. And, how nice (and unusual) that all the beaches are public. Glad you're back!
