I have lots of books to read and Grandpa really likes to read to me! I'm a lucky girl!
I have been helping to pick up toys! Sometimes we just leave them out....so they will be there when we get back to playing.

OH... We're melting. Thanks for posting the photos. Looks like Claire is very happy and eating well. I could almost feel that tummy. Isn't it the greatest? We went to a big park today that is like walking through a jungle only it has nice paths and animals in cages. We saw macaws, turtles, a manatee, monkies and a free roaming armidillo, which was very cute. We also saw a boa constrictor, he was unfortunately for him and fortunately for us, preserved in a clear jar! We got so hot we started to poop out and came back to the base. Sweat literally pours down your body forming streams and estuaries. Bruce and Silas went to swim in the pool but then the afternoon rain storm came. There often is lightning so it's not good to hang out in the pool.

Nancy will be here shortly to take her for the weekend. We have another wedding and it's grad. weekend.
Enjoy your last few days of eating fish on the street and soaking up the warmth. If you were home you would have the furnace on!! It's that good here! :))

We leave today, Sunday, for Miami. Bruce's third grade teacher is taking us to the airport--she says going to the airport is her hobbie. That's nice! Maybe you should check our flight before you leave to pick us up to make sure it's on time. We will try to call you from Miami. Bruce's cell phone died here in Brazil and he hasn't been able to charge it here but he probably will in Miami. See you soon. We're looking forward to coming home and seeing our sweet girl.
