It was an early morning drive into Portland and a visit to the growers market this day! All of the flowers below will be arranged and taken to two different venues for two separate weddings this weekend. The next few days will be busy but I'll be back to share the outcome!

Mums
Hypericum Freedom Roses
Old Fashion Rose

Leonidas Rose Charles Little

I've got the autumn "mum" bug. Picked one up at the store yesterday, though I know it will likely get hot here again. The feeling of fall is in the air! Even the weather here has played along nicely the past few days.

The flowers are beautiful and a trip to flower growers market in Portland sounds like a trip to paradise ! The fragrance must have been heavenly. Did you get pictures of the market ?

Do you arrange flowers for many weddings? Love the colors of the flowers. I am so excited about Autumn and your flowers just add fuel to the fire of my Autumn longing !KathyB.

What an interesting collection of flowers. I would love to see the end result of the floral arrangements. I am sure they are beautiful.
Thank you, Flower, for stopping by my Cabin blog. I don't post in it very often - I really should post something soon.

Thanks for your sweet comments on my blog regarding my collages. To answer your questions, I use a flat, artist canvas (either 5x7 or 8x10) for my base. I use mod podge as my adhesive for the paper, as well as my top coat when finished. Sometimes it may wrinkle, but that just adds to the character of it. I want to start doing a lot of them with inspirational messages and scripture.

We have something similar to your Charles Little that grows wild around here. We call it Butterfly Weed, is it the same? It is vivid orange like yours. The flowers are glorious!
