August is a month when the flowers, vegetables and anything growing comes into it's own. I am amazed at what my little plants have turned into! I had to trust that the plants would grow and fill in the empty space. This is much like life and a thought to ponder!
These pictures were taken today after a light rain. The weeds are something to fight right now but even they are kind of pretty! I wish the deer would eat them!! The photos below are of one area and on the south side of our home.

What a beautiful garden!
Your garden is lovely! So glad that you were at the beach enjoying the cool weather. It was so hot here! Glad it's cool and rainy now.
Hugs,
Kay
I love the side garden! This year only flowers are growing there, right?
Yes, it's a good thought to ponder--empty ground can grow beautiful flowers and food to nourish us. And we must be diligent to pull those weeds right away!
Your garden looks wonderful! Enjoy the beauty of it all Flower and thanks for sharing it with us along with this great verse...
My goodness, your garden is fabulous! Everything is in abundance..I'd love to be there!
Love your garden ! I see many of the flowers that do well in your garden are the same ones that flourish here in Western Washington ! God's creation is truly wonderful, and taking the time to reflect on His great beauty and bounty really does refresh the soul! KathyB.
Loved the garden tour, Flower! August is a great month...the garden pretty much does take care of itself...leaves us more time to enjoy! ;o) Happy Day ((HUGS))
So lucky to have such a wonderful climate to grow such beautiful flowers and veggies. We haven't had any rain in a month and every thing doesn't look very good. I would Love to live either in Oregon or Washington, every thing grows so well there.

Your flower gardens are stunning. I am afraid my sprout far more seeds than they do flowers! Sure wish I had your green thumb.
This garden is my dream. It is so beautiful and well planned. The super lawn and edging help too. I have always heard the northwest was the place to garden and yours shows it! Love your enthusiasm for it!
