Sewing.....
My dear friend, Barbara, arrived earlier today from the great state of Kansas. We have enjoyed knowing each other for about twenty-seven years, and make time for each other at least once a year. We enjoy sewing together, and before dinner time we had these chicken pincushions stuffed and sewn up! The instruction we followed were just about impossible to decipher. There was quite a bit of trial and error! Alas...three rock stuffed, quilted chickens are done, and ready for gift giving. Tomorrow we are taking a quick trip to two quilt shops near our home, and by noon will be back sewing. These are the best of times for us! As the week progresses there will be more projects to share. Do come back to check-in!

Very cute! Have fun with your friend...
These are just the cutest! I love the fabric you chose. Blessings, Kathleen
What a wonderful tradition to carry out every year and keep contact with someone dear to you ! The chickens are cute....will you be showing a picture of you and your friend ?
I enjoy seeing your projects and place. Thank-you.
Hilarious chickens, but I might have a hard time poking such sweeties with pins. Or would my chickens outside begin to squawk seemingly unprovoked? (Just kidding.)
I love these. What a special friendship you are blessed with. Have fun and keep sharing.
Cute chikens! Have fun and say hi to B for me!
Those are really sweet! I never could follow instructions on a sewing pattern. That's why my quilts "just happened..."
