Bridge over the Willamette River in Corvallis.
This mound is located south of Salem along I 5. It is a land formation that occurs along the corridor in several places. This time of year shows the contrast of the trees to the farmland below.
Close up view of the same land formation.
More farmland that is home to sheep along I 5.
"What's this? Go faster so we can pass them and see what it is!"
" Something isn't quite right!"It's the Oscar Mayer Wiener Mobile!! A transportation wonder!

Check it out. http://www.reedberry.com/wienermobile.html
There were two girls driving this giant wiener and they are talked about in the web site. Their job is to represent Oscar Mayer, while driving the wiener mobile all over the country. What are the chances of seeing this..with a camera handy? Only a blogger would seize the opportunity...laughing all the while!! My Jim puts up with me and smiles!

Oh how fabulous is that! You saw the Oscar Meyre Wiener mobile!! Love all the fall color you captured too!
Just had a chuckle over that weiner car. Funny! Good shot. Always have your camera handy. Your landscape looks similar to ours here in Ontario, Canada.
You saw the wiener mobile and have proof! I recognized that mound with the trees on it! And the sheepies! Were there any lambies?
Julene, beautiufl sceneries. What mobile is that!? Such funny looking sausage-like and fun mobile!! wow..I can imagine me driving that..i'll be on the headlines for sure :p
What a great post - the beautiful scenery and then to top it off with a laugh, the Wiener Mobile!
I think it is so appropriate that we both have 'Jims' and they both love the coast, and and they both have at least one Lab in the home ! My Hubby's first Lab was a huge black Lab we named Thor. I have a portrait of my Jim and Thor framed and hanging on the wall. Our Thor was the great-great grandpa of most all the dogs we and our daughter have now !
I know we must have passed each other on our trips to the coast ! The weather was beautiful, the way I love it, rainy, crisp, sometimes sunny....I just wish we could have brought a dog or two. We usually bring at least one dog on our trips and my heart sings as I watch my dog(s) chase waves, gulls, and generally hang out with us !
We've seen the Oscar Mayer Car a time or two, I can just imagine the comments the driver of the 'wiener mobile' gets! You know that driver has a sense of humor !
A Wiener mobile...WOW! Such a fun sight...hehehe...Thanks for this fun trip. It's raining bucket here, no leaves at all now...so lovely to see the fall color where you are! Happy weekend to all of you :o) ((HUGS))
