....running out of diapers.....and organic milk...

There isn't much time to write. We have this sweet little girl to enjoy!! Andra(DIL), me and Claire out for a walk around the farm. This picture says it all.....sweetness....all wrapped up in a one year old!!
While on our walk this white Clematis caught our eye!!
Bart joined the walk and offered himself to be petted. Notice his tail...it's up and that's good!! He is proud of that tail! He makes Claire giggle.
Grampa came for a visit and it was so nice to see him!!
Back to the baby!!

We miss you claire! How are things going
we cannot get email but if you tell us something through your blog we can get that! silas says i miss you claire.

It is so great to see where Bruce grew up.He is swapping stories and recollections with a lot of people. We are meeting missionaries that live with the indians. Eating interesting fruit.
silas is running around like he owns the place. He has met some kids and is having fun playing in the afternoon rain storms. the base is an oasis in the city of
1.5 million. all the buildings get covered with mold because of the humidity. the first thing you have to do upon arrival is accept that you will be in sauna for two weeks--dripping wet all the time. that[s been an adjustment but I[m not complaining! please share this with Nancy, Dad, and Litsters because our emails aren't going out. Thanks. Kiss Claire!

Hey you guys! Litsters here! Don't think you have a corner on humidity. The weather here is exactly like yours, only about 50degrees colder! Farenheit. I'm ready to trade. We're all horrible and gloomy at Chez Litster but otherwise well fed and rested. What can I say.....? Well, the beautiful spring colors are very pretty against a dark grey background, and when everything's this wet all branches droop attractively. Sounds as if Claire is being looked after so well she may not want to go back home with you! Glad you're having such a good time and we can't wait to see the snaps. Lots of love, E & S & twins

So good to read your note, Heidi. I've been thinking of you so often...and wondering how you are doing. I don't think I could manage the heat and humidity very well, either. Claire is a sweet dear. She is doing so well! I really enjoyed our weekend together and took her to Julene's on Sunday. All day Monday I kept thinking about her and missing her! That was good for me to then think about you...and how you must miss her, too... She is getting a special time on the farm and her grand aunties just can't dote enough!!! I'm so glad you are getting this special vacation time in Brazil. Bruce must be savoring every minute. I can just imagine Silas buzzing around and having a ball. I'll be anxious to hear all the stories when you get home. Blessings...
