- I live on a small farm where we grow Christmas trees, vegetables and flowers. We keep chickens and gather their eggs each day. We also have four goats. Our woods give us a little bit of heaven and shelter for the wildlife. We live simply and value each day as it comes.

I wonder what knew people I will meet and learn about? I wonder if I will spend too much time thinking about this blog? I wonder if I will be able to write anything that matters. I do know I'll make mistakes and so from the very first I would like to ask you to be kind....I'm not even trying to be perfect!! I am an artist at heart! How's that for a disclaimer?! I'm kind of excited to see how it goes!!

My bloggy walking friend and I admit that we now look at EVERYTHING thinking about how we can blog about it. I know that I am a better writer, a more observant person than I was before I started blogging.
